    Southampton Intermediate School’s National Junior Honor Society recently replenished their school’s food pantry with nonperishable items following a “Hunger Games” fundraiser. Each grade level competed through the month of December to collect the most food, with the winning grade level earning a

  • Applying algebra in the real world

    Laura Menelaws’ eighth grade algebra students at Southampton Intermediate School recently learned how algebra can be applied in the real world through a virtual engineering lesson. The class worked with a guest civil engineer to study traffic patterns. They also applied their math skills to find the best way to ensure traffic flowed smoothly through a simulated traffic light.

  • Holiday Fun

    Just before the holiday break, Southampton Elementary School first graders, dressed in their favorite pajamas and toting a special stuffed friend, sat to listen to a holiday story. The festive event was enjoyed by all.
