Fine and Performing Arts
The Southampton Union Free School District Fine and Performing Arts Department offers a wide variety of educational experiences for its students. Our music department offers bands (grades 4-12), orchestras (grades 3-12), choirs (grades 5-12), Suzuki program (grades pre- k-4), and college level orchestra. Extra-curricular musicals, jazz bands, select choirs, percussion clubs, world drumming, marching bands, symphony orchestra, and guitar clubs are offered as additional opportunities for students to develop their musical interests and talents. The fine art department offers studio in art, drawing and painting, portfolio development, media arts, creative arts, set design, and college level drawing and painting. In addition, students may join the art club and Parish Collaborative to develop their artistic interests and talents.
