• CLASS RULES

    As a student in Ms. Guerrero’s computer class, I am required to respect and abide by the following rules:

    I WILL FOLLOW DIRECTIONS.

    I Will Be Prompt – you are expected in class and at your seat once the late bell rings. Upon entering the computer class you are to take your assigned seat and log onto your computer. Two (2) or more unexcused lates will affect your grades (Five (5) points off for each unexcused late).

    I Will Be Polite – that means:

    1. Do not call out. Please raise your hand.
    2. Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself.
    3. Do not misuse or mistreat the computer equipment.
    4. Show respect to fellow students, teachers and staff.
    5. Use appropriate school language, no swearing, put-downs, teasing, etc. 


    I Will Be Productive -

    Do the classwork that is assigned and use your free time wisely. You may only use the computers for educational use. Game Playing (Solitaire, Pinball, MineSweep, FreeArcade) is NOT allowed. You may use the Internet, with permission from the teacher, for research or educational games (Typer Shark, Bookworm, TextTwist, MathQuest, BrainGames, Mavis Beacon, etc.). 

    I Will Be Neat -

    Please clean your work area and push your chairs under the desk before you leave. Your fellow students will appreciate a little consideration.

    I Will Log Off -

    Before you leave, close all running applications and log-off.

    I Will Stay Seated Until the Bell Rings. -

    Do NOT line up by the door.

    I Understand the Consequences for Unacceptable Behavior:

    1. Warning
    2. Second Warning
    3. Phone Call Home
    4. After School Detention – 2:50 – 4:00pm in room 107A. One (1) Days Notice of Detention.
    5. Parent/Teacher Conference
