To do their part and give back to the community, the Southampton High School girls varsity team raised $800 as part of their annual Kicks for Cancer soccer game on Oct. 12. The funds, garnered though a raffle, will be donated to the DezyStrong Foundation, which provides individuals on Long Island who are fighting cancer to “have access to support that affects a positive mental well-being.”

Five Hampton Bays students enrolled in Eastern Suffolk BOCES career and tech ed programs were presented with scholarships from the Southampton Business Alliance. Thirteen Southampton High School students enrolled in Eastern Suffolk BOCES’ carpentry program earned scholarship funds from the Southampton Business Alliance.
