    SIS Extra-Curricular Clubs
    Homework Club

    Homework Club is a place for students to work on their homework, reading and other projects in a casual setting. Students can work collaboratively and quietly discuss their work. They'll be able to seek support from their peers and the teacher. Students do need to be working on homework or school projects to participate.

    Yearbook Club

    Students in Yearbook Club take pictures of students, faculty, and various activities throughout the year. They are also responsible for designing, proofing, and editing yearbook pages, as well as distributing the completed copies in June.

    Art Club

    Art Club consists of afterschool art activities. Students have the choice to work independently or on group murals, signs, and large scale projects around SIS. They may also work independently.Art Club

    Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays 2:37 - 4:00pm

    *Begins September 24th

    Sign up in Art Room - 20 students max per day.


    Garden Club

    Garden Club offers students hands on learning opportunities, outdoor exercise, and lifelong skills. Students will learn to manage a garden, try new nutritious foods, and inspire environmental stewardship. 

    Garden Club meets 1-2x per week, in the Fall and Spring ONLY. Garden Club
    Meeting dates will depend on weather conditions.

    Woodworking Club
    Woodworking Club
    Students will construct one or more woodworking projects.
    Meets 2x's per week from 2:45 - 4:45pm
    *Begins late October for 5th & 6th Grade Students
    **Begins late January for 7th & 8th Grade Students 
    ***Schedule will be handed out during the first meeting. 


    Chamber Choir 


    The Chamber Choir is a select ensemble for the most talented and enthusiastic singers at SIS! This elite group of singers will learn challenging music and perform for our school and community. 
     
    Choral Club
    The Chamber Choir rehearses every Tuesday from 5:00 - 6:30 P.M.
     
    Concert information will be provided throughout the year at rehearsals. 



    Mock Trial

    Mock Trial offers students at SIS the opportunity to learn what it is like to prepare and present a legal case before the courts. Students will become familiar with the law, courtroom procedures, and the legal system while improving the basic skills of listening, reading, writing, analyzing, speaking and working as a team. Mock Trail Club

     Student Council

    Student council is a student-based civic organization designed to help promote school spirit and leadership amongst students.

    Student representation will be voted on in homerooms.Student Council

    **Meets every 2nd Tuesday at 7:00 am in the SIS Media Center.
