The members of the Southampton Elementary School Garden Club recently enjoyed an annual field trip to Fowler’s Garden Center. During the trip, Liam Blackmore, a Southampton High School student who was once a Garden Club member and now an employee of Fowler’s, provided students with a tour.

Score for B-Ball Players
The Southampton School District congratulates senior Derek Reed and sophomore Naevon Williams for being named to Newsday’s Top 100 Long Island Boys Basketball Players list. Reed, a third-year varsity starter and All-Long Island title holder, was recognized for averaging 20 points, seven assists and four steals last season.

Musicians earn college credit through Beacon program
Thirteen student-musicians from Southampton High School had the unique opportunity to earn college credit in collaboration with Suffolk County Community College’s Beacon (formerly Excelsior) program. Southampton High School is the only high school on Long Island that participates in the Beacon program for music performance.
