    Three Southampton School District representatives were recognized with awards at the annual SCOPE Education Services dinner held on May 22 at Villa Lombardi’s. Presented with awards were SunHe Sherwood-Dudley for her service on the school board, Eli Fishburne for his work as a stellar support staff member and Regan Kiembock for her service as an administrator.

    During a candle-lighting ceremony, 72 Southampton High School students were inducted into the World Language Honor Society. The students were selected for the honor based on achievement in the areas of scholarship, service and character. Inductees were also required to have earned a 90 or higher GPA for the last three semesters in their language of study
