A Broadway performance to remember

Southampton High School thespians took to the stage on April 23 to strut their Broadway best, each performing a favorite show tune.

The cabaret-style event made it possible for the students to perform under social distancing guidelines, explained director James Tartaglia.

The performance, which was livestreamed on the district’s Facebook page, featured beautifully designed sets and two student guitarists who accompanied the singers.

The Southampton Union Free School District congratulates the following performers:

Johan Arias – “Music of the Night” (“The Phantom of the Opera”); “Something’s Coming” (“West Side Story”); “As If We Never Said Goodbye” (“Sunset Boulevard”)
