Just in time for Thanksgiving, Southampton High School culinary arts and baking and pastry classes made 30 pumpkin and 10 apple pies to be served in the high school cafeteria on Nov. 30. Along with practicing food safety measures, the students honed their cutting, weighing and measuring skills. They also worked on time management by making multiple pies in a 40-minute period.
