You’re a grand old flag

Southampton Elementary School students celebrated Flag Day on June 14 with several flag-related activities. All students participated in a story book walk that focused on the history of the American flag. The activity was followed by a sing-along in which kindergartners led the entire school in patriotic songs in English and Spanish. Students also created patriotic artwork that was on display for parents and family members to view.
