Job Title: Year-Round Videographer (Excludes Board of Education Meetings)

Location: Southampton Union Free School District

Employment Type: Stipend. 7500.

 Start Date: July 15, 2025

Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative and dependable Videographer to capture, edit, and deliver high-quality video content to support our events, communications, and outreach. This role includes streaming and/or recording special events and editing video content for various platforms including social media, YouTube, and our website.

Key Responsibilities:

•     Record and/or live stream a variety of events throughout the year, as designated by the Superintendent of Schools.

•     Edit raw video footage into engaging final products suitable for multiple platforms.

•     Optimize videos for online distribution including YouTube, social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), and our website.

•     Collaborate with staff and event coordinators to understand video needs and capture essential content.

•     Maintain and organize video files and archives.

•     Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and functional for use.

Qualifications:

•     Experience with videography, live streaming, and video editing.

•     Proficiency with video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).

•     Familiarity with social media video standards and best practices.

•     Ability to work a flexible schedule in the evenings and some weekends.

•     Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills (not required):

•     Experience with motion graphics or graphic overlays.

•     Knowledge of YouTube channel management or video SEO.
