Description: Southampton UFSD is seeking a leave replacement high School English Teacher from XXXXX - XXXXX. The ideal candidate will develop and implement engaging, rigorous, and standards-based lessons for AP English Literature & Composition, focusing on in-depth textual analysis, literary theory, and preparing students for the AP exam. Additionally, the candidate will deliver comprehensive instruction for English 12, covering a broad range of literary genres, composition skills, and communication techniques while aligning curriculum with New York State Learning Standards and school-wide academic goals.

Requirements: All candidates must hold a valid NYS English Teaching Certification, grades 7-12. Experience in the following is preferred, but not required: 

• Experience with the AP English Literature curriculum and Exam

• Teaching multilingual learners
