Position Title: Southampton Intermediate School Summer Academy 

Location: Southampton Intermediate School 

Position Dates: July 6, 2026 - August 7, 2026, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Salary/Pay Scale:

• Teachers $109.36 /hour 
• Teacher Assistants $51.45 per hour 

Description: The Southampton Intermediate School Summer Academy program will consist of core content remediation and intervention lessons/activities in classes for grades 5 through grade 8. 

Qualifications: All applicants must hold a valid NYS certification in the area of assignment:

• 2 Elementary School Certified teachers
• 1 ELA Teacher, 7-12
• 1 Mathematics Teacher, 7-12
• 1 ENL Teacher, bilingual preferred 
• 1 Reading Teacher/Literacy Specialist 
• 1 Teacher Assistant 
• 1 Substitute - Elementary Teacher 
• 1 Substitute - Teacher Assistant 
• 1 substitute - Mathematics Teacher 7-12
• 1 substitute- ELA Teacher 7-12
• 1 substitute - ENL Teacher
