Position: Occupational Therapist

Position Start : August 24, 2026

Salary: As per STA Contract

Description: The Southampton Union Free School District is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to support students in accessing their educational programs. The Occupational Therapist will provide evaluation, intervention, and consultation services to students with a variety of needs in accordance with IEP mandates.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting occupational therapy evaluations and developing written reports

• Providing direct and indirect therapy services to students as mandated on IEPs

• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to support student success

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and goals

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations

• Participating in Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings as needed

Requirements:  Applicants MUST hold valid NYS license/certification - Occupational Therapist
