Position: Music Teacher - Chorus/Choir

Location: Southampton High School 

Position Start : August 24, 2026

Salary: As per STA Contract

Description: The Southampton Union Free School District is seeking an High School Music Teacher- Chorus/Choir . The successful candidate will provide engaging music instruction that supports student growth and fosters an appreciation for music.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Deliver music instruction aligned with New York State standards

• Teach foundational skills including vocal music, basic theory, and notation

• Create a positive and supportive learning environment

• Monitor and support student progress

• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities

• Communicate with families regarding student progress

• Plan and lead student performances, including evening events

Requirements:  Applicants MUST hold a valid NYS certification in Music K-12
