Position Title: STAR Program 2026 – Various Positions

- June 29, 2026 - August 7, 2026 (Co-Directors)
- July 6, 2026 - August 7, 2026, 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM (All other positions)
Job Description & Compensation:
The Star Program is a program involving children in grades K-8, along with high school students employed as counselors. The program teaches skills, designed to improve academic achievement, self-confidence, and executive functioning.
The following positions are needed:
STAR Co-Directors (2):

Responsible for staff training, classroom preparation, hiring, curriculum development, and administrative coordination.

$60.00 per hour, not to exceed 180 hours
Health/Wellness Coordinator (1)

Responsible for student wellness, first-aid, and coordination of wellness activities.

$50.00 per hour, not to exceed 100 hours
Grade level Coordinator Teachers (Up to 9 )

Responsible for teaching and coordinating all grade level activities.

$50.00 per hour, not to exceed 100 hours
Lead Counselors/College Staff (Up to 10)

Responsible for directly supporting Directors and teachers.

$25.00 per hour, not to exceed 100 hours
High School Student Staff (Up to 17)

Responsible for directly supporting Directors, teachers and counselors.

$16.50 per hour, not to exceed 100 hours
Qualifications: All candidates must receive NYS fingerprint clearance.
