| Job Description
Southampton Union Free School District is seeking a qualified Home Instruction Tutor to provide instructional support to a student from Southampton Intermediate School during the school year.

Deliver personalized, 1-on-1 instruction aligned with the student's learning style, strengths, and goals.

Implement strategies from Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or customized learning plans.

Support core academic subjects (e.g., Reading, Writing, Math) while reinforcing foundational executive functioning skills (organization, time management, focus).

Utilize multi-sensory and specialized teaching strategies (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Visual Schedules, Applied Behavior Analysis principles) as appropriate.

Track academic and behavioral progress, adjusting lesson plans and interventions as needed.

Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding progress, challenges, and milestones.
