| Job Description
Southampton Union Free School District is seeking qualified internal applicants for the position of Assistant Coach – Varsity/JV Wrestling for the school year.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Coach with practices, competitions, and team activities.
- Provide instruction in the fundamentals, skills, and strategies of wrestling.
- Support the development of student-athletes while promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and safety.
- Assist with supervision of student-athletes during practices, competitions, and other team activities.
- Perform other coaching-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience in the sport.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- DASA training.
- School Violence Prevention training.
- Child Abuse Identification and Reporting certification.
- Must meet all applicable NYSED and District coaching requirements.
