5th Grade Orientation: Tuesday August 27th--- 9:00 am

We are excited to invite all 5th grade families to our 5th grade orientation this coming Tuesday. We are meeting in the school cafeteria.

Please RSVP to let us know if you are planning on attending.

Orientation Highlights

Ask questions and meet staff

Spend time meeting important staff and asking them your questions

Sign Important Forms

Take care of key forms needed for the start of school. Also make sure you have access to powerschools

Take a tour

Walk the building and practice opening your lockers.

Technology

All families that have completed their e-collect forms will receive their students I-Pad. Technology will be present to ensure the device is working. Please also consider paying the $20 insurance by going to the my school bucks site. You can also pay the insurance with cash/check when you pick up device.

Orientation Agenda

9:00-9:30 - Presentation From Mr. Bentsen
9:30-10:00 - Breakout Session 1
10:00-10:30 - Breakout Session 2
10:30-11:00 - Breakout Session 3

Parents and students can rotate between the sessions
Session 1: Questions to get ready for the year (Mr. Bentsen------- Band Room)
Session 2: Picking up technology or completing power school forms (Technology Staff in Cafeteria & Computer Lab)
Session 3: Practice open your lockers tour the 5th grade wing (Support Staff in hallway)
