Class of 2030 Gets a Head Start at Orientation

Posted Date: 08/31/26 (08:13 PM)

Incoming Southampton High School freshmen became familiar with their new school during a recent orientation program that was designed to help them feel confident and prepared for their transition to ninth grade. The members of the Class of 2030 met administrators and support staff and learned about school expectations and opportunities available to them. A highlight of the orientation was an interactive scavenger hunt that encouraged students to explore key areas of the building. Working together, students navigated the school to locate important spaces, including the cafeteria, music rooms, wet lab and library. They also practiced opening their lockers, reviewed their schedules and visited their classrooms.
